If your application has been successful, you will be asked to call in at our offices to complete the necessary documentation and pay both the bond and the first month's rent. At this interview you will be asked to:
- Sign 3 copies of the Tenancy Agreement and initial all clauses as having read and understood them. This document confirms information about the property: the address, the full names of the tenant/s, address for service, the term of the tenancy, when the tenancy starts, and the frequency of the rent payable, and how the rent shall be paid (usually by Rent Card or automatic payment from your bank to our Trust account). This document also includes the Terms under which you are agreeing to rent the property.
- Sign the Bond Lodgment Form for the bond to be lodged with the Residential Tenancies Bond Authority.
- If you are taking possession of the property at that time, you will also be requested to sign a receipt for the keys to the property and to complete the Condition Report in duplicate, returning one signed copy to this office within 3 business days.
